    April 18, 1976 —

The name Clarissa started to climb the charts in 1992, when it made it to the top 200 among all American baby girl names. That rise coincided with the debut of a teen show, "Clarissa Explains It All", starring Melissa Joan Hart as the titular character. That begs the question, what kind of teens were watching that show (and then having babies), but nonetheless. "Clarissa" ended its run in 1994, and soon after, the name dropped out of the top 200, not to return to that peak since.

The name Sabrina started to climb the charts in 1996, when it made it to the top 100 among all American baby girl names. That rise coincided with the debut of a teen show, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch", starring Melissa Joan Hart as the titular character. That begs the question, what kind of teens were watching that show (and then having babies), but nonetheless. "Sabrina" ended its run in 2000, and soon after, the name dropped out of the top 100, not to return to that peak since.

Recently, Melissa Joan Hart has only been starring in Christian movies (her Jewish grandmother must be spinning in her grave) and weight loss commercials, so don't expect any new naming trends...

    Verdict: Barely a Jew.
