A recent email in our suggestion box implored us to profile something called "BLT Kosher", or "the new generation will not take this site seriously as the governing authority of Jewish rankings"! We can't have that, can we?

One major problem: we don't know what BLT Kosher is. We can only assume it's a newfound way to make the notoriously trefe sandwich into something palatable for Jews?

A quick internet search revealed that there are many ways to make a BLT Kosher. Bacon doesn't have to be made from pork! The recipe that provided the image on the left uses beef bacon. (For those who are concerned about mayonnaise, there is nothing inherently trefe about it, other than the goyishe concoction of "mayo on white bread" that is rightfully reviled by a vast majority of Jews.)

Oh. It turns out we misread. The correspondent did not want us to profile a sandwich, but rather BLP Kosher, an obviously Jewish rapper with albums like "Bars Mitzvah" and "The Magic Dreidel" and hits like "Mazel Tron" and "Jew on the Canoe"...

And here we thought this "new generation" would rise above cheesy puns!
